Description
A small creek, "Dismal Creek" by name, runs along innocently, finally reaching a point where, over the past couple of hundred years, it drilled a hole through about 10 feet of rock to create a pool thirty feet below. It proceeds downhill in the form of cascading waterfalls beyond. Cindy and I were there all morning with no other soul showing up the entire time! It was very dry when we were there, quite often the entire cavern floor is covered in a large pool. One of nature's hidden wonders that is absolutely incredible and amazing!
